About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scientist to support in vitro immunology research and functional assay activities within a pharmaceutical laboratory environment. The role will focus on T cell and dendritic cell functional assays, sample preparation, flow cytometry, and data handling. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on laboratory skills and experience working with immune cell-based assays. The position requires strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills. The successful candidate should be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a scientific team.
Responsibilities
- Support in vitro immunology assays involving T cells and dendritic cells.
- Perform sample preparation and laboratory activities supporting immune cell-based assays.
- Perform flow cytometry experiments using multicolor panels with a minimum of 8 colors.
- Perform functional assays including T cell proliferation, cytokine release, and dendritic cell coculture assays.
- Follow established laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting experimental and assay-related issues.
- Handle and organize experimental data and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with scientists and cross-functional team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science with a minimum of 5 years of experience or Master of Science with a minimum of 3 years of experience in immunology, cell biology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with cell culture.
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry using a minimum of 8 colors.
- Experience performing in vitro immunology assays.
- Strong laboratory, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow standard protocols and assist with troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with human primary immune cells.
- Experience with PBMCs.
- Experience with T cell proliferation assays.
- Experience with cytokine release assays.
- Experience with dendritic cell coculture assays.
Pay
$35 to $40 an hour
