Laboratory Processor

Responsibilities

• Clerical and patient‑care support by ordering, processing, and distributing clinical laboratory specimens.
• Perform limited non‑complex laboratory tests.
• Register patients as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Associate of Applied Science in laboratory technology (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in a health‑care environment with direct patient care or laboratory involvement (preferred), or an associate degree (or equivalent) in a medical or life‑sciences field from an accredited institution (preferred), or current enrollment in such a degree program with at least part‑time status (preferred).

Skills

• Alpha‑numeric (hard copy) data entry skills – test required for Flint Road Processors.

Pay

• Salary range: $23.27 – $29.44 per hour (wage determined by experience, qualifications, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreement).
• Pay frequency: Bi‑weekly.

Schedule

• Standard hours: 75 hours bi‑weekly (full‑time, FTE 1.0).
• Shift options: 3 p.m. – 11 p.m., 4 p.m. – 12 a.m., 5 p.m. – 1 a.m. (Shift 2).
• Weekend/Holiday work required.
• On‑site work arrangement.
