Laboratory Processor

Job Description

To perform clerical and patient care support by ordering, processing, and distributing clinical laboratory specimens; and/or performing limited non-complex laboratory tests; as well as registering patients as required.

Education And Credentials

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate of Applied Science in laboratory technology preferred.

Experience

• 1 year of experience in a health care environment with direct patient care or laboratory involvement preferred;
• OR minimum of an associate degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences major from an accredited institution preferred;
• OR currently enrolled in the minimum of an associate degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences field from an accredited institution with at least part time status preferred.

• Data Entry Alpha Numeric (Hard Copy) Skills Test required for Flint Road Processors only.
