The Role

The Emerald Cloud Laboratory (ECL) is seeking Lab Operators to join our team. Our mission is to enable life scientists to conduct research remotely, leveraging our industrial lab facilities and software platform. We are currently expanding our services and are looking for talented individuals who can help us meet this growing demand.

Responsibilities

  • Run wet lab experiments from anywhere in the world using our software platform
  • Follow detailed written instructions to execute protocols with minimal supervision
  • Work in a fast-paced production, fulfillment, or manufacturing environment with defined success metrics and goals
  • Participate in continuous improvement and operation exercises
  • Handle and maneuver small components and parts as part of the lab duties
  • Comply with all lab safety guidelines and use appropriate safety and protective devices
  • Work flexible shifts/hours, including overtime as needed
  • Lift and handle materials used for experiments, not exceeding OSHA guidelines
  • Operate specific laboratory equipment that may pose safety hazards to individuals with certain medical conditions or implanted metal devices

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments
  • Keen attention to detail, highly organized, and diligent
  • Understands and follows all ECL and site-specific policies and procedures
  • Willing to participate in continuous improvement and operation exercises
  • Strong computer skills and not intimidated to learn new systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of experience working in either a laboratory environment or regulated manufacturing industry
  • Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Laboratory Practices (GMP/GLP) environment

Pay

$20 - $26 per hour, depending on experience
