Laboratory Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct precise analysis of concrete and mortar using advanced techniques in our concrete laboratory, at customer’s production facilities, and on construction sites.
• Provide expert advice on product selection and performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify customer expectations and work within statutory legislation, and internal standards.
• Ensure all analyses are completed on time, contributing to the development and promotion of new construction technologies to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and implement innovative lab processes ensuring projects and trials are completed to the company standard.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a concrete testing laboratory or within the construction sector.
• Prior managerial experience is highly desirable.
• A degree in a science or maths-related field.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete and a general understanding of construction materials.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and a proactive approach to Health & Safety.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
• A full UK driving licence and the right to work within the UK.
