Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze clinical laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with CAP, state, and federal regulations
• Collect and process patient specimens, including blood samples
• Manage and support the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Train and educate laboratory personnel on procedures and LIS functionality
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver timely, reliable results

Requirements

• Doctoral, master's, OR bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical lab science, or medical technology from an accredited institution; OR have earned an associate degree in a lab science or medical lab technology from an accredited institution;
• AMLT certification (or equivalent) required within 1 year of hire
• ASCP certification; preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Commitment to quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement
• Meditech LIS experience; preferred

• Experience in performing and analyzing clinical laboratory tests
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to manage and support laboratory information systems
• Strong communication and training skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $XX.XX - $XXXX.XX per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The shift is FT | Days | 0730-1600, with occasional call required.
