The Laboratory Assistant provides efficient, accurate, and courteous service for physicians, employees and patients. The role involves conducting blood draws and specimen collection, assisting the laboratory and other departments in ensuring order accuracy and specimen integrity, and maintaining a sterile work environment.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 1 year - Experience in a laboratory or a like setting and/or Lab Assistant certification

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training - Additional education in science, medical coursework, or laboratory training is preferred
