This position serves as a stepping stone to a rewarding career in the pharmaceutical industry. You will provide support tasks in a fast-paced laboratory setting under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor. We offer comprehensive training and a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Media preparation
• Glassware cleaning
• Inventory and ordering
• Lab cleaning and sanitization
• Autoclaving various reagents and supplies
• Assist laboratory personnel in daily activities
• Maintain high scientific quality and compliance with SOPs, protocols, and safety standards
• Wear, maintain, and use appropriate safety equipment

Requirements

• High School diploma with 2+ years working experience OR Associate degree in Microbiology or related science field OR Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related science field
• A minimum of an associate degree in Microbiology or related science field is preferred
• Communication proficiency

Work Environment

This job operates in a laboratory environment. Physical demands include standing for prolonged periods, dexterity in fingers and hands, ability to walk and stoop, ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and ability to see and hear in the normal ranges.
