Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing biological specimens
- Assist in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks
- Aid in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies
- May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
