Laboratory Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming laboratory materials and supplies
• Organize, label, and maintain raw material inventory
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, logs, and documentation
• Clean and sanitize laboratory glassware (e.g., beakers) and maintain a safe, organized workspace
• Assist in formulation development to support expansion of the R&D formulation library
• Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Record experimental data and prepare reports as required
• Adhere to all safety protocols for handling chemicals and waste disposal
• Help to monitor inventory levels and order laboratory supplies as needed
• Provide general laboratory support and perform additional duties as assigned

  Requirements

  • AA degree in Chemistry or related field preferred, or equivalent education and directly related years of experience
  • 1 or more years of experience in Research and Development laboratory
  • Basic understanding of chemistry and standard laboratory techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary and standing position for long periods of time, occasionally stoop, bend, and kneel, constantly operate laboratory equipment, and lift/move inventory in excess of 20 pounds.

  About The Compensation

  The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors including job accountabilities, skill sets, experience and training, certifications, work location, competitive market rates, and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $55,000-$85,000.
