Laboratory Assistant

About the role

CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to help many patients get excited about blood work. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of microbiology, biology, hematology, immunohematology, urinalysis, and chemistry, as well as experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process samples
• Interpret test results and communicate findings to appropriate personnel
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort during blood draws

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Laboratory experience preferred

Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical laboratory practices
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment

Pay

The posted compensation range is $15.67 - $22.14 /hour.

Schedule

Rotating weekends and holidays, 5am-5pm Monday through Friday.
