Responsibilities
- Perform testing on natural and synthetic minerals from internal and external sources using physical and chemical test procedures
- Assist in sample logging and perform additional tasks as directed by the Laboratory Manager
- Work closely with production and research as well as other team members across the Washington Mills family
- Maintain accurate and complete records of analysis
- Perform calibration of equipment and maintain instruments
- Use instrumental analysis and wet chemistry methods as directed by the Laboratory Manager
- Work collaboratively in a manufacturing setting with other Laboratory team members
Requirements
- Possess an Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Science with 3-5 years’ of experience
- Ability to perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
- Good math skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to obtain government clearance upon hire, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation

Pay
$48,500 to $55,000 annually
