Laboratory Analyst

About the role

Performs routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization with methods, practices, and programs in an onsite laboratory located in Ashland, VA.

Responsibilities

• Prepares samples using standard techniques
• Performs chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Calculates data
• Records and reports data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
• Performs routine instrument maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; chemistry preferred
• 1-3 years of industry experience with metals, ICP, GC, or other instrumentation, or research projects/internships involving metals/GC/instrumentation

Pay

$22-$30 an hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
