California Nurses Association (CNA)/National Nurses Organizing Committee (NNOC)/ National Nurses United (NNU) is leading the national movement for registered nurse power to transform the market-driven health care industry into a health care system based on patient need.

Requirements/Qualifications

The Labor Representative is responsible for:

  • All matters related to collective bargaining
  • Compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting pertinent data
  • Aiding in contract negotiations
  • Processing grievances and conducting arbitrations
  • Representing nurses in employment-related problems

Additional & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insatiable work ethic and drive to create systemic change
  • Demonstrated success at contract enforcement
  • Prior experience as a full-time labor representative a plus
  • Effectiveness in organizing membership participation
  • Developing rank and file leadership

Salary And Benefits

Competitive salary depending on experience: $70,332-$188,796 and outstanding benefits offered, including comprehensive family health & dental plan, and generous pension.
