Responsibilities

  • All matters related to collective bargaining, including organizing nurses in private and public employment
  • Compiling, analyzing, interpreting and presenting pertinent data
  • Assisting with contract negotiations
  • Processing grievances and conducting arbitrations
  • Representing nurses in employment-related problems

Some travel will be required.

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Labor Representative with experience in:

  • Creative methods of addressing workplace issues to build power
  • Collective bargaining
  • Compiling, analyzing, interpreting and presenting pertinent data
  • Grievance and arbitration
  • Organizing campaigns

Additional & Preferred Qualifications

  • Insatiable work ethic and drive to create systemic change
  • Demonstrated success assisting with contract negotiations and arbitrations
  • Prior experience as a full-time labor representative (a plus)
  • Effectiveness in organizing membership participation
  • Developing rank and file leadership

Driver's license and insured car required.

Pay

Competitive salary depending on experience: $70,332–$188,796/yr.
