Banking Representative - San Diego, CA

Essential Functions

• Perform outbound sales and service calls to prospective and existing bank clients to generate and service a wide variety of loans.
• Manage relationships with existing and new clients through regular phone calls to ensure business needs are being met.
• Aggressively seek and obtain quality new business through client and prospect referrals.
• Expand client base by sourcing new relationships and making recommendations for bank products and services to new and existing relationships.
• Assist clients with product offerings, selection, loan application processes and opening accounts via phone.
• Follow all operational procedures and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Provide support to business unit personnel as needed.
• Assist with department projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in inside sales, branch and business banking, credit lending and analysis or other directly related experience.
• A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
• Working knowledge of sales, lending, credit analysis, customer service, retention skills and banking products and services.
• Ability to expand loans, client relationships and make recommendations for bank products.
• Familiarity of the sales, loan processing and closing processes.
• Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
• Good customer service, problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use a variety of computer software.

Pay

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $69,000 - $85,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
