Labor & Employment Practice Group Attorney

About the role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a Practice Group Attorney in the Labor & Employment Practice of its Phoenix office. This position offers reduced billable hour expectations (as low as 1200 per year) and increased remote work opportunities. It is not a shareholder track position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and writing
• Analyze complex issues and produce high-quality written work
• Write research memos, written discovery requests and responses, position statements to administrative agencies, demand letter responses, and motion practice
• Develop substantive knowledge of basic employment concepts under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and similar federal and state employment laws

Requirements

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Critical attention to detail and initiative to take ownership of work
• Membership in the Arizona State Bar or willingness to quickly become one
