Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney - PART-TIME
About the role
Part-time Labor & Employment Litigation Associate position in the Durham, NC office, averaging 15 to 20 hours per week. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in Labor & Employment Litigation or a related, transferable area of practice. This role focuses on being a trusted advisor to employers, providing clear guidance and effective advocacy while collaborating with a team that values trust and long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Partner with public and private employers on a wide range of workplace issues
- Represent clients in courtroom litigation
- Draft workplace policies and provide counseling to leadership
- Represent clients before administrative agencies
- Take ownership of work while being supported by a collaborative team
Requirements
- At least 2 years of labor and employment law experience, including litigation
- Active North Carolina law license
- Strong writing, advocacy, and counseling skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in building client relationships

Pay
Salary range: $65.00 – $85.00 per hour for part-time employment.
