The Opportunity: Seyfarth Shaw LLP, an international law firm with over 1000 attorneys, has an exciting opportunity for a Labor & Employment Staff Attorney (ERISA) with 3 or more years of increasingly responsible experience in employment, commercial or insurance litigation. Candidates should have familiarity with federal court practice.

Responsibilities
- File review
- Preparing case analysis memoranda
- Pleadings
- Attending routine court hearings
- Attending mediation or conciliation meetings
- Negotiating settlement agreements
Requirements
- 3+ years of increasingly responsible experience in employment, commercial or insurance litigation
- Familiarity with federal court practice
- Extensive writing experience
- Ability to handle a high-volume practice
- Excellent academic credentials and solid work ethic
- Success in this role is measured by caseload management and work quality, not by billable hours
- Active bar license in the state in which you will reside and one in which Seyfarth maintains an office

Pay
The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $140,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
