Responsibilities

  • Build a practice and work creatively with clients to find solutions
  • Handle employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions
  • Manage federal clerkship experience and experience in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits
  • Handle wage and hour matters, and provide client counseling
  • Advising and counseling clients on employment law compliance, including policies, handbooks, leaves and accommodations, employee performance and discipline, hiring and terminations
  • Conduct labor due diligence on M&A deals

Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent legal writing skills
  • Two to five years of employment law experience
  • Experience in drafting summary judgment motions and other dispositive briefing, motions to compel arbitration, discovery requests and responses, oppositions to motions for class certification, long-form settlement agreements in wage and hour class/collective actions, separation agreements, offer letters, arbitration agreements, and PIIAs

Qualifications

  • Federal clerkship experience

Pay

$235,000 to $365,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
