Labor & Employment Associate Attorney (Employer Defense)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience in California labor and employment law to join our growing Sacramento office. You'll work directly with private sector employer clients on high-stakes employment litigation and provide strategic advice on personnel matters at one of California's top boutique employment law firms.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and counsel to private sector employer clients on personnel matters
• Handle high-stakes employment litigation in court and arbitration
• Represent employers in administrative matters before state and federal agencies
• Work independently on significant matters while collaborating with a team
• Manage class/collective action lawsuits and single-plaintiff cases

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience representing private sector employers in California labor and employment matters
• Juris Doctor with a strong academic record
• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and assume significant responsibilities

Pay

$170K - $250K/year
