The Nashville, Tennessee office of FBT Gibbons is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate. Responsibilities
- Providing advice and counsel on employment matters
- Handling wage/hour compliance and defense, including non‑compete, confidentiality, and non‑solicitation agreements
- Representing employers in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies
- Drafting position statements, settlement agreements, employment agreements, and independent contractor agreements
- Assisting with investigations, conducting witness interviews, and preparing detailed written memorandums
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of substantive and substantial employment litigation experience
- Tennessee licensure
