Responsibilities
- Provide advice and counsel to in-house legal counsel and HR professionals on a broad range of employment matters, including FMLA and ADA
- Handle wage and hour compliance and defense
- Draft and litigate non-compete, confidentiality, and non-solicitation agreements
- Represent employers in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies
Requirements
- 3–7 years of employment litigation experience
- Traditional Labor experience preferred
- OSHA experience preferred
- Superior academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Kentucky licensure
Pay
The salary range for this role is $170,000 to $200,000, with actual compensation determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors. Associates are eligible for:
- Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
- Annual subjective bonus
