Labor & Employment Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Defend employers in complex employment litigation matters, including wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and related employment disputes.
• Manage matters through all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and resolution.
• Draft and respond to written discovery and substantive court filings.
• Prepare for and take depositions, defend depositions, and participate in hearings and motion practice.
• Collaborate with clients and legal teams on litigation strategy and case management.

Key Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership.
• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Employment litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience handling California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA matters is highly desirable.
• Strong writing, legal research, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $210,000 to $275,000+ depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
