About the role
The Dallas, Texas office is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join our team. We support our attorneys with structured training and mentorship, clear paths to advancement, and exposure to varied and sophisticated matters. Responsibilities
- Provide advice and counsel on employment matters
- Handle wage/hour compliance and defense, non-compete, confidentiality, and non-solicitation agreements
- Represent employers in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies
- Draft position statements, settlement agreements, employment agreements, and independent contractor agreements
- Assist with investigations, witness interviews, and provide detailed written memorandums
Requirements
- 4–5 years of substantive and substantial employment litigation experience
- Texas licensure
- Superior academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Pay
The salary range for this role is $205,000 to $220,000, with actual compensation determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors. Associates are also eligible for quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level, as well as an annual subjective bonus.
