About the role
We are seeking a Labor & Employment Associate for our Louisville, Kentucky office. The firm supports attorneys with structured training and mentorship, clear paths to advancement, and exposure to varied and sophisticated matters. Responsibilities
- Provide advice and counsel to in-house legal counsel and HR professionals on a broad range of employment matters, including FMLA and ADA
- Handle wage and hour compliance and defense
- Draft and litigate non-compete, confidentiality, and non-solicitation agreements
- Represent employers in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies
Requirements
- 3–7 years of employment litigation experience
- Traditional Labor experience preferred
- OSHA experience preferred
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Kentucky licensure
Pay
The salary range for this role is $170,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors.
Associates are eligible for quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level, as well as an annual subjective bonus.
