Labor/Delivery - RN - (PRN)
About the role
The Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum setting at Madisonhealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care, assess and plan individualized patient care, communicate effectively with physicians, respond to changes in condition, and participate in performance improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively and professionally with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
- Perform general nursing duties in the department
- Participate in performance improvement activities
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) within 6 months of hire
- Breastfeeding Basics Nurses Course (BBNC) within 9 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 9 months of hire, OB ACLS preferred
- AWHONN Fetal Monitor Course, or equivalent, within 18 months of hire
- Cerner experience, preferred
