About the role

The Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care by conducting assessments, examinations, and treatments to ensure effective medical outcomes. They support medical decision-making through data analysis, assist in implementing prescribed interventions, and promote patient safety by adhering to protocols. Collaborating closely with the healthcare team, the RN facilitates communication and care coordination to enhance patient outcomes. They seek guidance from senior medical professionals for complex cases and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (required)
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• At least 1 year of RN experience, including in a clinical specialty

Licensure and certifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
