Responsibilities
- Create and post 24-hour/48-hour locked schedules in compliance with Union regulations.
- Monitor and communicate forecasted labor demand fluctuations to key production stakeholders and HR.
- Provide advance notice of labor shortages within a one-week planning window.
- Coordinate temporary labor deployments.
- Attend daily planning sessions with business unit supervisors to address attendance-related challenges.
- Work closely with HR to provide input for schedule conflict resolution.
- Accountable to KPIs measuring labor scheduling efficacy (to be determined).
- Make quick decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting; food manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Working knowledge of integrated HR Management platforms (e.g., Workday).
- Ability to communicate and build relationships across operational functions.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and self-motivation to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
