Labor Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Create and post 24-hour/48-hour locked schedules in compliance with Union regulations.
• Monitor and communicate forecasted labor demand fluctuations to key production stakeholders and HR.
• Provide advance notice of labor shortages within a one-week planning window.
• Coordinate temporary labor deployments.
• Attend daily planning sessions with business unit supervisors to address attendance-related challenges.
• Work closely with HR to provide input for schedule conflict resolution.
• Accountable to KPIs measuring labor scheduling efficacy (to be determined).
• Make quick decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting; food manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Working knowledge of integrated HR Management platforms (e.g., Workday).
• Ability to communicate and build relationships across operational functions.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and self-motivation to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated values of collaboration, ownership, integrity, and care.
