Labor and Employment Attorney
This Jobot Job is hosted by Tyler May.
About us
Our client is a well-established litigation boutique based in Dallas, Texas, built by a group of former Big Law partners who wanted to combine sophisticated trial capability with a more personal, relationship-driven way of practicing law. Founded in the late 2000s, the firm has grown into one of the largest women-owned law firms in the Southwest and holds both Certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) status and membership in NAMWOLF.
The firm's labor and employment practice represents employers in matters spanning the full employment relationship, with particular depth in disputes involving departing employees and the protection of confidential information. Its client base spans financial services, construction, health care, telecommunications, trucking and transportation, energy, multi-level marketing, food and beverage, real estate, and retail and fitness, among other industries, and includes several Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies.
Why join us?
- Big Law pedigree, boutique culture. Attorneys here trained at some of the largest and most respected firms in the region, but chose to build something smaller and more collaborative. You get sophisticated matters and serious clients without the bureaucracy of a mega-firm.
- Genuine case ownership. Rather than being buried under layers of staffing, attorneys are expected to take meaningful ownership of client relationships and case strategy from an early stage.
- A focused, in-demand niche. The practice's emphasis on departing-employee and confidential-information disputes puts attorneys at the center of high-stakes, time-sensitive matters that matter enormously to clients, rather than routine HR-compliance work.
- High-caliber, high-profile clients. The roster includes many of the largest companies in the country across a wide range of industries, giving attorneys exposure to substantial, complex disputes rather than low-stakes matters.
- Recognized leadership. Firm attorneys are consistently recognized among top lawyers in Texas by independent legal ranking organizations, and the firm itself is nationally recognized for its work.
- A genuinely collegial team. The firm places a strong emphasis on personal relationships internally and with clients, aiming to be a place where people enjoy the people they work with, not just the work itself.
