Labor and Delivery/Postpartum RN Nights

About the Role

Provides proficient direct patient care within the obstetric and neonatal units, utilizing the nursing process to deliver complex care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, well newborn, and neonatal intensive care settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families tailored to their needs
• Precept students and new staff, delegate tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care
• Coordinate patient transitions and document/communicate patient status
• Provide education and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Valid RN licensure
• Relevant certifications such as BLS, NRP, and ACLS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Six months of Women and Infants nursing experience (preferred)
