Labor and Delivery/Postpartum RN

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, family-centered care during labor, birth, recovery, and postpartum.
• Assess, monitor, and support patients through various stages of childbirth and postpartum, including mother–baby couplet care.
• Perform fetal monitoring, administer medications and IVs, interpret maternal/infant status, and assist with deliveries and emergency situations.
• Support breastfeeding and patient education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an academic-affiliated environment focused on innovation, respect, and professional development.
• Ensure patient safety and achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience or knowledge in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care.
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and emergency response skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
