Responsibilities
- Make maintenance checks, schedule major repairs, overhaul equipment, and trouble shoot all label line equipment to insure production and quality standards are met.
- Provide label line adjustments to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Provide leadership to other members of the label line to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Make label line changeovers as needed.
- Tie out label unit and provides proper documentation for each label unit.
- Assist Warehouse Manager and/or Supervisor in training all personnel to achieve proper and safe line operation.
- Verify and Program Can and Fiber BUIB dates in Video Jets and give the inspector and depalletizer operator the list of codes.
- Check setting of ADR-50, calibrate when necessary, and perform a daily checks for calibration and documents.
- Follow all safety rules and GMPs to ensure a safe working environment for self and fellow employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Two to three years' mechanical training or experience preferred.
- Shifts will vary depending on production needs.
- Individual must be willing to take on new jobs and areas of responsibility as the operation changes or as needs arise.
- Knowledge of the GEM system and P-244.
- Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
Pay
Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
