About the role
We are looking to hire a Label Technician to join our team in St. Louis, MO. Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, this position is responsible for the inventory control, scrap, and organization of the label room. The role generally requires an 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday, and is on-site.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage label inventory.
- Maintain inventory accuracy within Luxco’s ERP software database.
- Physically receive and stock labels and capsules into inventory on a timely basis.
- Organize inventory to be used by the production lines efficiently and effectively.
- Work closely with production management to ensure weekly/daily/hourly requirements are met.
- Coordinate with the Quality Manager on any defective materials.
- Comply with all necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and Safety requirements.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the Label room and inventory storage areas.
- Print, organize, and prepare weekly production paperwork.
- Complete scrap reports and work closely with the materials buyer to resolve any discrepancies.
- Print labels and coordinate shipment to offsite warehouses and production locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Stockroom experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – Excel knowledge.
- Excellent time management.
