Label Preparation Associate

Position Summary/ Objectives

The Label Preparation Associate will perform label printing activities for final packaging of finished products, support warehouse activities, and ensure the consistent execution of company programs.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform label printing for final packaging following schedule and complete all related documentation.
• Perform printing of preprinted Tyvek lids for certain products.
• Aids with existing product label support as required.
• Requisitions and stores label printing supplies.
• Adheres to daily schedule.
• Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
• Assists in ensuring a safe working environment.
• Adheres to standard operating procedures and department operating procedures.
• Keeps work area organized and free of clutter and debris.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
• Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
• Initiates, recommends, or provides solutions through designated channels.
• Assists with various special ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have management responsibilities.

Education, Experience and Certification

• A minimum of an Associate's degree or 3 years of experience on a similar position.
• Knowledge of cGMP is desirable.
• Experience in a medical device or science-related field is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience with label design software applications and Microsoft Office applications (MS Word and MS Excel).
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work stand up for extended periods of time.

Salary Range

$22.00-$24.00 per hour
