Label Maker
About the role
Working from work orders, artwork drawings, and other written documentation, this individual is responsible for the timely, accurate printing of labels utilized on all ZOLL products. The role involves utilizing the ROBAR system to produce required labels, inspecting labels for accuracy and compliance with specifications, and monitoring label stock to balance on-hand supplies against projected usage. The position may also collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and external vendors to create or modify labels, and maintain the label production area in a clean, orderly manner.
Responsibilities
- Support the efficient operation of the manufacturing process by preparing all required labels in a timely, accurate manner.
- Utilize the ROBAR system to print labels, ensuring accuracy, readability, and compliance with specifications prior to issuance.
- Monitor label consumption to maintain adequate on-hand supply for manufacturing and distribution requirements.
- Initiate re-orders for labels and verify vendor compliance with specifications.
- Review the production schedule to determine projected label usage and use Agile to ensure the correct revision of labels is being used.
- Maintain label printers by replacing ribbons, cartridges, and other parts as needed.
- Report printer or software issues to Manufacturing Engineering and notify manufacturing of any production impacts.
- Maintain the label production area in a clean, orderly manner and operate all equipment safely.
- Report any safety issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Comply with SOPs, SIPs, and other documents detailing printing specifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (desired, preferred).
- Exposure to label production software or demonstrated ability to learn and use such software (required).
- 1-3 years of experience working with product labeling (preferred).

Pay
The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00 to $21.00. Factors affecting this rate may include shift, geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
