Lab Technician- Only W2

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical load tests using Instron load frames and custom fixtures.
• Perform wear, abrasion, drop, and cyclic life testing on components and sub-assemblies.
• Conduct environmental stress testing using temperature and humidity chambers.
• Develop, document, and maintain mechanical test procedures and work instructions.
• Perform dimensional measurements using CMM, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Assist with mechanical failure analysis, including cross-sectioning, visual inspection, and dimensional characterization.
• Collect, organize, and report test data with clear documentation of results and findings.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM/CAE software (e.g., Solidworks, Fusion 360).
• Experience with IPC, JEDEC standards.
• Knowledge of Instron Bluehill Software.
• Experience with 3DP printing or rapid prototyping.
