Lab Technician I or II

Position Overview

Test silicone rubber formulations relative to customer and industry specifications.

Organize and generate necessary data to support development activities and projects.

Produce laboratory samples, testing reports, and provide support for scale up including material registration and generation of data for safety data sheets.

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Lab Safety

• Follow all lab safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associates degree in science related discipline or comparable laboratory experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of rubber testing.
• Experience working in a materials laboratory.
