Responsibilities
- Support the Metals laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples.
- Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
- Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
- Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred but not required.
