Support Vitalant's Life-Saving Mission

• Operate within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing, and data entry.

What to Expect

• Work Schedule: Thursday - Monday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm with Rotating Holidays
• Weekend Shift Differential: 8%
• Hourly Pay Range: 21.00 - 21.63 DOE

Maintain Accurate Data Records and Documentation

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.

Prepare Blood Components

• Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.

Ensure Product Quality

• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.

Conduct Labeling and Implement Quarantine Procedures

• Conduct labeling for routine and special components.
• Implement quarantine procedures.

Requirements

• High School or GED required
• No Experience Required
