Lab Technician I, Analytics & Metrology

About the role

Our site in Franklin, MA is seeking a Lab Technician to join our Analytical Services Lab in our AMC business unit. The Laboratory Technician performs chemical testing, assists in problem solving, and provides technical services to other Entegris functional groups and business units. You will contribute to the design of research projects through setting up tests, sample preparation, and analysis with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare gas phase sampling kits and ship them to internal and external customers.
• Carry out and schedule routine testing in support of manufacturing, engineering, and Entegris’ business groups objectives.
• Provide accurate and timely lab test results for product development and product applications.
• Perform daily calibrations, verifications, and maintenance on small lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Process data and generate test reports.
• Ensure technical information is accurate and distributed appropriately.
• Support daily LIMS entries according to ISO 17025 requirements.

Requirements

• B.S or B.A degree in chemistry, materials science, polymer engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Ability to work with tools, fixtures, and instrumentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Pay

$20.19 - $26.44 hourly range, with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
