LAB TECHNICIAN - Day Shift

About the role

Conduct routine and non-routine testing of Shelf Stable Products and ingredients as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine testing of shelf stable Acidified, High Acid, and Retorted product for compliance to specifications according to current procedure.
• Conduct finished product audits in accordance to current procedure.
• Ensure Broken Jar pallets are fixed in a timely manner.
• Read and sign lab procedures on an annual basis.
• Conduct line audit for GMP compliance.
• Communicate out-of-specification products to operations supervisor on duty.
• Record accurate results for tests completed on correct forms.
• Cleanup and organization of work area.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Schedule

4:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Some weekends may be required based on demand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED Certificate required.
• Lab or food science experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
