About the role
Conduct routine and non-routine testing of Shelf Stable Products and ingredients as required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine testing of shelf stable Acidified, High Acid, and Retorted product for compliance to specifications according to current procedure.
- Conduct finished product audits in accordance to current procedure.
- Ensure Broken Jar pallets are fixed in a timely manner.
- Read and sign lab procedures on an annual basis.
- Conduct line audit for GMP compliance.
- Communicate out-of-specification products to operations supervisor on duty.
- Record accurate results for tests completed on correct forms.
- Cleanup and organization of work area.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Schedule
4:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Some weekends may be required based on demand.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED Certificate required.
- Lab or food science experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
