Responsibilities
- Collect samples from different departments and transport to the lab.
- Perform testing and accurately record results.
- Data entry required for the samples.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing lab.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills.
Requirements
- Prior Lab Experience Is Not Required - Training Provided.
- Must be safety oriented.
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug test and background screening.
- Must comply with strict lab protocols regarding personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene.
- Must be able to work around industrial equipment.
- Must be capable of walking the distance from parking lot to designated job area in addition to walking throughout a large manufacturing plant during course of day for required meetings and other required duties.
- Must be able to work either 8 hour or 12 hour shifts.
- Must walk in pedestrian walk-ways (due to forklift traffic).
- Must be able to recognize potential safety dangers around plant equipment and walk-ways.
- Must be able to wear a standard respirator and/or PAPR respirator in the plant.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (majority of work will be conducted from a standing position).
- Must be able to pass a Vision Test.
