Lab Technician

Job Duties

• Set up test tanks and laboratory equipment, including installation of valves and related components.
• Operate overhead cranes safely to move test equipment and materials.
• Utilize hand tools including wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, and measuring devices.
• Accurately record test data, measurements, and observations using Microsoft Excel and other data collection systems.
• Read and interpret basic measurements, pressure units, weights, and test parameters.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
• Support engineers and laboratory personnel with testing activities and special projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using common hand tools.
• Ability to understand measurements, pressure units, and weights.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, testing, or laboratory environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely work around industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety.

Pay

$24/hr.
