About the role
Support laboratory operations by preparing samples, maintaining equipment, recording data, and adhering to safety protocols. Coordinates product testing and oversees COA distribution.
Responsibilities
- Assist in laboratory operations, including sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and accurate data recording, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Coordinate and oversee product testing processes, ensuring that quality and regulatory requirements are met.
- Manage the distribution of Certificate of Analysis (COA) reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Maintain a vigilant focus on safety protocols, adhering to all safety guidelines and ensuring that the laboratory environment is safe for all personnel.
- Work collaboratively with the Lab/Filling Specialists to ensure the efficient and accurate operation of laboratory processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- A proactive approach to compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Familiarity with laboratory management software and tools is advantageous.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Reliable attendance.
Physical Demands
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Excellent hand dexterity (preferred).
