Lab Technician

Job Summary

To follow set procedures in the process of sanitation, making & packaging cheese and cream products in a safe manner to ensure the product meets quality specifications set by the company to fulfill customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the Quality Control Department at La Vaquita - Houston, TX to include but not limited to, Quality Systems and other regulatory matters, as required.
• Provide system administration for Document Management and Quality Reporting Systems.
• Interface with the departments to facilitate the administration.
• Provide technical support for program development, complaint tracking, data acquisition and data trending.
• Provide Document Control oversight.

• A minimum of High School Diploma or GED; Two year associate degree business college degree, Bachelor of Science or similar experience.
• Ability to master new computer applications.
• Ability to operate and support proprietary company systems.
• Ability to maintain and increase knowledge of job subject matter without prompting or direction.
• Ability to collaboratively and effectively work with other co-workers from an array of professional disciplines, such as, scientific, research, compliance, quality assurance, business, regulatory and customers, both domestic and foreign.
