Key Responsibilities
- Collect samples for laboratory analysis.
- Prepare and safely handle laboratory solvents and chemicals.
- Support Chemists and Laboratory Technicians with cleanliness verification processes.
- Maintain lot traceability and serialization of customer parts.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory consumable inventory.
- Perform particle count and Non-Volatile Residue (NVR) testing throughout cleanroom environments.
- Conduct monthly facility and cleanroom inspections.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in accordance with Class 5 cleanroom standards.
- Assist production teams with cleaning and packaging activities as needed.
- Support other departments and technicians as business needs require.
- Follow all safety, quality, compliance, and training requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by laboratory leadership.
- Ensure work complies with applicable U.S. Export Control regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in a cleanroom and/or laboratory environment with wet chemistry preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following documented procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic math skills, including ratios, percentages, and measurements.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to meet U.S. Export Control requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to wear a respirator when required.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and short-notice call-ins as business needs require (approximately 10–20% overtime).
Work Environment
- Primarily in a Class 5 cleanroom and laboratory environment.
- Team members should be comfortable working around:
- Laboratory chemicals and solvents.
- Wet or humid indoor conditions.
- Moderate to occasionally high noise levels.
- Moving mechanical equipment.
- Strong odors associated with laboratory processes.
