Job Summary

Urgent need for a Lab Tech I position for recent college graduates in Vernon Hills, IL. Duration is 12 months, 40 hours per week, 1st shift. The client is a Medical Device Company.

About the role

Works within a local candidate pool and requires US Citizenship or GC status.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates significant attention to detail and completes work assignments accurately and on time.
• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works with a high degree of supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Recent college graduate preferred.
• Understands how assigned duties relate to those of others on the team.
• Volunteers for self-development assignments when made aware of opportunities.
• Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems, has limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Takes personal accountability for one’s decision and actions and maintains an open mind to feedback.
