Lab Tech I (Recent college graduates) - Entry Level (Local Candidates) - Urgent Need

About the role

This position is for a Lab Tech I (recent college graduates) at Medical Device Company in Vernon Hills, IL. The duration is 12 months with a total of 40 hours per week on the first shift. The employment type is a contract on W2, requiring US citizens or GC holders only.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates significant attention to detail and completes work assignments accurately and on time.
• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works with a high degree of supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Builds understanding of processes within own work group.
• Recent college graduate preferred.
• Understands how assigned duties relate to those of others on the team.
• Volunteers for self-development assignments when made aware of opportunities.
• Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems, has limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Takes personal accountability for one’s decision and actions and maintains an open mind to feedback.
