Job Summary

Float Position: Must be able to travel. Location: Hill Country Clinic Float (including but not limited to Marble Falls, Llano, San Saba, Leander, Cedar Park, Lago Vista, Johnson City, Kingsland). Status: Full‑time.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday‑Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM or 7 AM – 4 PM.

Essential Functions

• Conduct routine laboratory procedures where the range of possible errors is limited.
• Sort, label, and record patient specimens.
• Set up specimen, material, and equipment in preparation for Medical Technologist to perform tests.
• Operate centrifuge, simplex timers, cell washer, and other laboratory equipment in completing assigned duties.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies.
• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with all laboratory personnel, other disciplines, and external customers.
• Participate in laboratory projects and educational activities.

Qualifications

• Education – H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Experience – Less than 1 year of experience
